Settings — Sales Team
Step by Step
Overview
The Sales Team (also known as the pharmaceutical sales force) is responsible for promoting and selling prescription medications to healthcare providers such as physicians, hospitals, and pharmacies.
Managing this list ensures accurate assignment, tracking, and accountability within SiCompounding.
Step 1 — Open SiCompounding
- Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
- When FileMaker opens, locate the left-side menubar and click SiCompounding (near the top).
- Click Pharmacy to open the Dashboard.
Step 2 — Navigate to Sales Team
- From the blue sidebar menu, select Settings (located at the bottom).
- Under Finances, select Sales Team.
- The Sales Team window opens, displaying the current list of Sales Force members.
Step 3 — Add a New Sales Agent
- Click the + Sales Agent button.
- The Sales Force Information window opens.
- Enter the following information:
- First Name
- Middle Initial (M.I.)
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Region
- Status (Active | Inactive)
- Click Save after all required data has been entered.
Step 4 — Search Sales Team Members
- Use the Search bar in the upper-right corner of the window.
- Search by Name.
- Press the Enter / Return key on your keyboard to display results.
Step 5 — Manage Existing Sales Agents
For each Sales Agent, click the Gear (settings) icon to access the following options:
Edit
- Opens the Sales Force Information window.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Click Save to apply updates.
Delete
- Opens a Deletion Confirmation dialog.
- Select:
- DELETE to permanently remove the record
- CANCEL to close the dialog without deleting
Change Logs
- Opens the Record Modification Log.
- Displays a list of changes made to the Sales Force Information record.
- Click the X in the upper-right corner to close the log.
Important Notes
The Pharmacy Settings section contains required templates and default configurations and must be completed before using other areas within SiCompounding.
