Printing Options Setup?
Step-by-step guide to configure printing options for inventory and compounding labels in SiCompounding.
Overview
Label printing in a pharmacy environment requires high-resolution technology to ensure text is legible, durable, and compliant with FDA regulations. https://www.fda.gov/industry/structured-product-labeling-resources/route-administration Labels must withstand transit, storage, and consumer use. Label requirements vary depending on the product type:
- Prescription medications
- Over-the-counter (OTC) medications
- In-patient hospital products
Proper setup ensures accurate tracking and compliance.
Navigation Path
- Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
- From the left-hand menu, click SiCompounding.
- In the main window, select Pharmacy to open the Dashboard.
- From the blue sidebar, select Settings.
- Scroll below Physician / Patient Portal and select Printing Options.
Printing Options Window
The Printing Options window contains two sections:
1. Inventory Labels
Used for tracking medications, supplies, and equipment. Options include:
