Creating a Price Schedule?

Step-by-step guide to create and manage Price Schedules in SiCompounding for consistent formulation pricing based on quantity or days supplied.

Overview

A Price Schedule is used to automatically determine a price for a Formulation Type based on:

  • Days Supplied
  • Quantity Sold

This ensures consistent pricing for formulations and streamlines billing.


Navigation Path

  1. Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
  2. From the left-hand menu, click SiCompounding.
  3. In the main window, click Pharmacy to open the Dashboard.
  4. From the blue sidebar, select Settings.
  5. Under Finances, select Price Schedule.

Price Schedule List

The Price Schedule window displays all existing schedules. From here, you can:

  • Add a new schedule
  • Edit an existing schedule
  • Search schedules by name or formulation type
  • View change logs

Create a New Price Schedule

  1. Click + Price Schedule.
  2. Enter the following information in the Price Schedule window:
    • Name
    • Description
    • Formulation Type
    • Prices Formula
    • Margin %
    • Dispense Fee
  3. Override Prices
    • Choose Days Supply or Quantity.
    • Example using Quantity:
      • Qty 5 @ $11.99
      • Qty 10 @ $10.99
      • Qty 20 @ $10.49
  4. Click Save after entering all data.

Price Schedule Actions (Gear Icon)

Click the gear icon at the end of a row for the following options:

Edit

  • Opens the Price Schedule window.
  • Modify fields as needed.
  • Click Save to apply changes.

Change Logs

  • Opens the Record Modification Log.
  • Displays all changes made to the schedule.
  • Click the X in the upper-right corner to close the log.

Important Notes

The Pharmacy Settings section contains foundational configuration data that must be completed before using other areas of SiCompounding. Here, you can manage:

  • Product settings
  • Facility areas
  • Equipment
  • Workflows
  • Costs and fees
  • Laboratory work
  • COM templates
  • Notifications
  • Integrations
  • Automation and audit logs

Ensure all required data is accurately entered for proper system operation.
