What is in Pharmacy Integrations?

Step-by-step guide to access and configure system integrations in SiCompounding for pharmacies.

Overview

The Pharmacy Integrations section allows you to connect SiCompounding with third-party systems for streamlined operations, compliance, and enhanced workflow. Integrations include prescription monitoring, lab services, pharmacy automation, patient-reported outcomes, and independent pharmacy services.


Navigation Path

  1. Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
  2. From the left-hand menu, click SiCompounding.
  3. In the main window, select Pharmacy to open the dashboard.
  4. From the blue sidebar, select Settings.
  5. Scroll below Communications, select Integrations.

Available Integrations

PMP Clearinghouse

Purpose: A centralized data repository for controlled substance dispensing data, reporting to state PMPs.

Setup Steps:

  1. Click Connect.
  2. SFTP Account Creation:
    • Login at: https://pmpclearinghouse.net
    • Navigate to Account → SFTP Details
    • Enter desired SFTP Hostname, Username, and Password
    • Click Set to create the account

Pharmetric Laboratory

Purpose: FDA-registered, ISO 17025 accredited lab specializing in microbiology testing for pharmaceutical and compounding pharmacies.

Setup Steps:

  1. Click Connect.
  2. Login at: https://clients.pharmetriclab.com
  3. Navigate to Account Settings → SiCompounding
  4. Click Activate Integration
  5. Copy the provided Client ID and Client Secret into the SiCompounding form
  6. Click Set

ScriptPro Integration

Purpose: Comprehensive pharmacy management and automation systems for retail and ambulatory pharmacies.

Setup Steps:

  1. Click Connect.
  2. Contact ScriptPro Support to obtain your Robot IP and Robot Port
  3. Enter the credentials into SiCompounding
  4. Click Set

PMP Gateway

Purpose: Integrates multi-state PDMP intelligence into clinical workflows (currently under development).


OutcomeMD Integration

Purpose: Leverages patient-reported outcomes (PROs) to improve healthcare.

Setup Steps:

  1. Click Edit.
  2. Obtain account credentials from OutcomeMD: Base URL, Partner Type, Partner ID, Partner Facility Name, Gateway API Token
  3. Enter credentials into the SiCompounding form
  4. Click Set

Independent Rx

Purpose: Provides support for independent pharmacy ownership, accounting, and lifecycle management.

Setup Steps:

  1. Click Edit.
  2. Enter SFTP Account details: Hostname, Username, Password
  3. Enter Client Information: Name and Identifier
  4. Click Close

Important Notes

The Pharmacy Settings section contains foundational configuration data that must be completed before using other areas of SiCompounding. From here, you can manage:

  • Product settings
  • Facility areas
  • Equipment
  • Workflows
  • Costs and fees
  • Laboratory work
  • COM templates
  • Notifications
  • Integrations
  • Automation and audit logs

Ensure all required integration credentials and configurations are entered accurately for proper system operation.
