Payment Integration Choices?
Step-by-step guide for configuring payment integrations within SiCompounding Pharmacy Settings.
Overview
The Payment Integrations section within SiCompounding allows pharmacies to connect to multiple online payment platforms, enabling secure processing of patient payments and streamlining financial workflows. This setup should be completed after configuring Pharmacy Settings.
Accessing Payment Integrations
- Open FileMaker Pro by clicking the FileMaker Pro icon.
- In the next window, select SiCompounding from the left menu.
- Click Pharmacy from the middle icons to open the Dashboard.
- From the blue sidebar menu on the left, scroll down and select Settings.
- Under Settings, navigate to Integrations → Payments.
- Select the Payments tab to view available system integrations.
Available Payment Integrations
1. Tabz Payments (HealNow)
Overview:
Tabz Payments is an online payment and patient engagement platform designed for pharmacies. It facilitates online payments, prescription management, delivery processing, and patient communication.
Setup Steps:
- Click Setup under Tabz Payments.
- Login at https://pharmacy.healnow.io/
- Select Environment: Sandbox or Production.
- Enter API Key and click Test.
- Enter Checkout URL, Client Key, and Fee (Fee is mandatory).
- Configure Patient Groups:
- Click + Add
- Enter Group Code, Group Name, and toggle Status (On/Off)
- Use Delete if needed
- Click Save after adding and testing all groups
2. Stripe Payments
Overview:
Stripe enables businesses to accept payments online, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
Setup Steps:
- Click Setup under Stripe.
- Enter API Key and Public Key.
- Click Save.
3. Priority Payments
Overview:
Priority Payments provides payment processing solutions for businesses, including pharmacies.
Setup Steps:
- Click Setup under Priority Payments.
- Enter Username, Password, and Merchant ID.
- Click Save.
4. CardConnect
Overview:
CardConnect supports online and in-person payment processing, including credit and debit card transactions.
Setup Steps:
- Click Setup under CardConnect.
- Enter Username, Password, Merchant ID, and Terminal Key.
- Click Save after testing the integration.
5. Merchante
Overview:
Merchante allows healthcare businesses to accept credit card payments and other electronic transactions.
Setup Steps:
- Click Setup under Merchante.
- Enter Username and Password.
- Click Save after testing the integration.
Best Practices
- Complete Pharmacy Settings before configuring payment integrations.
- Ensure all required fields (API Keys, Fees, Credentials) are entered accurately.
- Test each integration before using it for live transactions.
- Regularly update credentials and review access logs to maintain security.
Note: Pharmacy Settings include Product settings, Facility Areas, Equipment, Workflows, Costs & Fees, Lab Work, COM Templates, Notifications, Integrations, and Automations. Input all necessary data to ensure smooth operation of SiCompounding.
