Updating Notifications?
Step-by-step guide to manage and update notification settings in SiCompounding.
Overview
The Notifications section allows you to manage email or system notifications for your pharmacy. You can create, edit, and track changes to ensure accurate communication with patients, providers, and internal staff.
Navigation Path
- Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
- From the left-hand menu, click SiCompounding.
- In the main window, select Pharmacy to open the dashboard.
- From the blue sidebar, select Settings.
- Scroll below Bins/Bags Setup, select Communications → Notifications from the dropdown.
Notifications Window
The window displays a list of notifications with relevant details. From this screen, you can:
- Edit existing notifications
- Search for notifications
- View change logs
Searching Notifications
- Use the Search bar in the upper right corner to search by Code, Name, or ISO.
- Press Enter/Return to execute the search.
Editing a Notification
- Click the gear (settings) icon next to the notification you wish to modify.
- Select Edit to open the Notification Information window.
- Update the following fields as needed:
- Subject
- Body
- Click Save to apply changes.
Viewing Change Logs
- Click the gear (settings) icon next to a notification.
- Select Change Logs to open the Record Modification Log.
- View all changes made to the notification.
- Click the X in the upper-right corner to close the log.
Important Notes
