Where Can I Access the Provider Portal?

Overview

This guide explains how to access the Provider Portal, send invitations, and manage suggested formulas for providers or institutions.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open SiCompounding

1. Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
2. From the left menu bar, click SiCompounding.
3. Click Pharmacy from the middle icons to open the Dashboard.
4. From the blue sidebar menu, click Providers.

2. Locate the Provider

1. In the top menu bar, click the Search bar (to the right of the magnifying glass).
2. Type the Provider Name and press Enter/Return.
3. Click on the provider row to open the Provider Summary window.

3. Send Portal Invitation

1. In the SiPrescribe Settings section, toggle the Portal Access switch On.
   • This starts the Send Portal Invitation process.
2. Alternatively, click the Actions gear icon in the main menu and select Send Portal Invitation.
3. The provider will receive an email prompting them to enter a password and complete the required security information.

4. Configure Inventory Access (Required)

1. From the blue sidebar, click Inventory.
2. In the Search bar, type the Formulation Name, NDC, or Product ID and press Enter/Return.
3. Select the formulation from the search results.
4. Click the EDIT button on the top menu bar next to Drug Database.
5. Scroll to the Cost Information section.
6. Enable Prescriber Portal YES and/or Institutional Portal YES.
7. Click Save Drug Information after making changes.

5. Manage Suggested Formulas for Providers

1. Return to the Providers section from the sidebar.
2. Search and select the provider if needed.
3. Click Profile in the main menu bar.
4. In the table below, select Suggested Formulas (far right).
5. Add formulas to the list using one of these methods:
   • Click + Formula to add one formula at a time.
   • Click + From Other Provider to import formulas from another provider.
   • Click + From Prescriptions History to add all formulas previously prescribed by this provider.
6. Optional: Check Show only Suggested Formulas on Portal to restrict portal visibility to this list.
7. Use the Star icon to mark favorites for easy visibility.
8. Use the Trash icon to remove formulas (confirm deletion in the dialog box).
