This document outlines the updates and improvements introduced in Inventory module from SiCompounding v.26.04.1 Release. Follow the step-by-step instructions to understand the new features, improvements, and fixes.
Updates
Features and Improvements
- Added the option to create new Inventory Categories and select if the items can be used for sale at the POS.
- We now allow to keep a perpetual inventory for products that do not require or do not have a lot number and expiration date. To enable this feature edit the selected product and under the Inventory Management section, select “Yes” for “Manage Inventory without Lot”.
- We implemented some changes in the screen to apply cost changes:
- Added the ability to apply price updates to specific line items in the list while keeping the rest to be applied later.
- Added a column showing the last dispense date of each product.
- Shows products that are inactive in red.
- Created a new setting option in the product profile to require scanning the stock bottle during fulfillment and final verification of the prescription, even when the global setting is OFF.
- Added the ability to set the option to preserve price or margin when adding a new product.
- Adjusted the 15 days and 30 days inventory usage statistics to include any inventory adjustment to account for waste.
- When replacing a product as ingredient in one or multiple formulas, we now update the formula and the associated products' final cost.
- We now prevent users from editing the product package size and the purchase units after the first inventory transaction is created to avoid inventory count miscalculations.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue when modifying the price per quantity as it was flagging the record as “Cost Change” and displaying the record in the Cost Change Report.
- Fixed an issue where under certain conditions the total inventory on hand count wasn’t updating as expected after receiving inventory.
