Where Are Compliance Licenses?

Compliance Licenses – Step by Step

The Compliance Licenses area allows users to view, manage, track expirations, and export pharmacy and staff licenses to ensure regulatory compliance.


Accessing Compliance Licenses

  1. Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
  2. When FileMaker opens, locate the menu bar on the left.
  3. Click SiCompounding (near the top).
  4. From the center icons, click Pharmacy to open the Dashboard.
  5. From the blue sidebar menu, click Compliance.
  6. Under States and Licenses, click the Licenses widget.

Licenses Dashboard

Clicking Licenses opens the Licenses window with the following widget filters:

License Filters

  • All Licenses
    Displays all licenses associated with the Pharmacy or Institution.

  • Next 30 Days
    Shows Pharmacist Licenses expiring within the next 30 days.

  • Next 90 Days
    Displays Pharmacist Licenses expiring within the next 90 days.

  • Expired
    Displays licenses that have already expired.

  • Renewal Period
    Shows licenses currently within their renewal window.
    Example: If a license expires on December 31, the renewal period may open 90 days prior, and pharmacists must typically complete 30 hours of continuing education.

  • Refresh Dashboard
    Displays the last update timestamp. Click Refresh to update widget results.


Adding a New License

  1. Click the + New License button.
  2. The License Information window opens.
  3. Enter the following information:
    • State (dropdown)
    • Staff Name (dropdown)
    • License Type (dropdown)
    • License Number
    • Valid Until (date)
    • Opening Renewal Date
      • Defines how many months before expiration the renewal period begins
    • Image
      • Drag and drop the license image or State equivalent document
  4. Click Save when finished.

Searching Licenses

  • Use the Search Bar to find licenses by:
    • Name
    • State
    • License Type
  • Press Enter / Return to view search results.
  • Results are filtered based on the currently selected widget.

License Actions

Click the gear icon next to a license to access the following actions:

  • Edit
    Modify license details and click Save to apply changes.

  • Change Logs
    Displays a modification log including:

    • Timestamp
    • User Account
    • Modified Field
    • Value Changed (From → To)
      Click X to close.
  • Delete
    Opens a confirmation dialog.
    Select DELETE to confirm or Cancel to abort.


Reporting & Printing Licenses

Located on the right side of the menu bar, the reporting icons apply actions to the current found set of records.


PDF Report

  1. Click the PDF Report icon.
  2. A dialog appears:

    Exporting data from the found set of ### records to a PDF file on your desktop?

  3. Click OK.
  4. The PDF is generated and saved to your desktop.

CSV Report

  1. Click the CSV Report icon.
  2. Confirm export to CSV.
  3. The Select Columns window opens:
    • Use Clear to reset selections
    • Choose desired columns
    • Click Set as Custom to save column preferences
    • Use Use Custom for future exports
  4. Export options:
    • Stop and Close – cancels export
    • Export and No Wait – background export
    • Export and Wait – waits for completion
  5. A dialog confirms:

    Your Report Is Ready!

  6. Click the report name to download.
  7. Choose save options:
    • Rename file
    • Change save location
    • Automatically open file
    • Create email with attachment
  8. Click Save, then Close.

Printed Report

  1. Click the Printer icon.
  2. Confirm export to printer.
  3. Review the document preview.
  4. Use the Print dialog to select:
    • Printer
    • Presets
    • Copies
    • Pages
    • File format
  5. Click Print.
