PDMP Reporting Dashboard?

Step-by-step guide to accessing and understanding the PDMP Reporting Dashboard in SiCompounding.

Overview

PDMP (Prescription Drug Monitoring Program) reporting is the required electronic submission of controlled substance dispensing data from pharmacies to a state PDMP database.
This process supports regulatory compliance and helps monitor, detect, and prevent prescription drug misuse and diversion.

The PDMP Reporting Dashboard provides visibility into daily dispensing activity, reporting status, and file submission readiness.


Step 1: Open SiCompounding

  1. Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
  2. From the left-side menu, click SiCompounding.
  3. From the center icons, select Pharmacy to open the Dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to Compliance

  1. From the blue sidebar menu, click Compliance.
  2. The Compliance window opens.

Step 3: Open the PDMP Reporting Dashboard

  1. Locate the PDMP Reporting section.
  2. Click the PDMP Dashboard widget.
  3. The PDMP Reporting Dashboard window opens.

At the top-right of the PDMP Reporting Dashboard, the main menu includes:

  • Today’s Date
    Calendar icon used to select or review reporting activity for a specific date.

  • States
    Provides access to state-specific PDMP reporting configuration and status.

  • Licenses
    Displays licenses related to PDMP reporting requirements.

  • General Features
    Common system tools available across modules:

PDMP Reporting Dashboard Widgets

The dashboard displays real-time reporting metrics using the following widgets:

Total Dispenses

  • Displays the total number of dispenses processed for the selected day.

To Report

  • Shows the number of dispenses containing controlled substances that require PDMP reporting.

Files Uploaded

  • Number of controlled substance dispenses that have been processed and have .dat or .txt files uploaded.

Pending Upload

  • Displays controlled substance dispenses with .dat or .txt files created but not yet uploaded.

Zero Report

  • Indicates when a zero report is required.
  • A dispenser must submit a zero report no later than the close of the next business day if no controlled substances were dispensed on a day when they are normally dispensed.

Pending Report

  • Displays the accumulated total of controlled substance dispenses that still require reporting and are not yet ready for upload.
