Overview
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are critical for maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring consistent quality, and streamlining pharmacy and institutional operations.
They provide detailed, written instructions for recurring tasks and are essential for:
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Supporting audits and inspections
- Training staff consistently
- Minimizing operational errors
The Compliance Documents area in SiCompounding centralizes SOPs and related documentation for easy access and reporting.
Step 1: Open SiCompounding
- Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
- When FileMaker opens, locate the large menu bar on the left.
- Click SiCompounding near the top.
- From the center icons, select Pharmacy to open the Dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Compliance
- From the blue sidebar menu on the left, click Compliance.
- The Compliance window opens.
Step 3: Open Compliance Documents
- Under the Documents section, click the Documents widget.
- The Documents window opens.
Documents Menu Options
At the top of the Documents window, the menu includes:
- Documents

Searching for SOP Documents
- Use the Search bar to locate documents by:
- Document Code
- Document Name
- Press Enter / Return to display matching records.
Printing and Exporting Documents
To the right of the Search bar are three Report / Print icons.
All actions apply to the current found set of documents.
PDF Report
- Click the PDF Report icon.
- A dialog appears:
“Exporting data from the found set of ### Orders records to a PDF file on your desktop?”
- Click OK to generate and save the PDF to your desktop.
- The PDF opens automatically.
CSV Report
- Click the CSV Report icon.
- Confirm the export when prompted.
- The Select Columns window opens.
Configure Custom CSV Columns
- Click Clear to remove all columns.
- Select the columns commonly used for reporting.
- Click Set as Custom to save your selection.
Reuse Saved Columns
- Click Clear
- Click Use Custom to restore your saved column layout.
Export Options
- Stop and Close – Cancel export
- Export and No Wait – Continue without waiting (may take time)
- Export and Wait – Wait for completion

Click the document name to open Export Field to File.

Choose file name and location, or accept defaults.

- Create email with file as attachment

- Click the Printer icon.
- Confirm export when prompted.
- The document opens along with the Print dialog.
