Setting Up Terminals (Devices)?

Step-by-step instructions for configuring terminals (devices) in SiKore for SiCompounding operations.

Overview

Facility Setup is the area where SiCompounding is configured to staff the facility, streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and facilitate compliance within the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry.

This guide explains how to locate, review, and configure Terminals (Devices) in SiKore, including terminal information, hardware integrations, login activity, and audit logs.


Accessing the SiKore System

  1. Click the FileMaker Pro icon on your computer.
  2. In the next window, select the K or System icon.
  3. Enter your Username and Password in the login fields.
  4. Click Sign In to open the SiKore System window.

The SiKore System window displays:

  • My Modules
  • To Do List (right side of the screen)

  1. Below all modules, click Facility Set Up (admin access only).
  2. In the User Access window, use the blue navigation sidebar on the left.
  3. Under Company, click Terminals.

Terminals Window Overview

The Terminals window displays all device records added through the server.

Search and Filter

  • Use the Search bar to:

    • Search for a specific Device IP
    • Filter by Device IP or Device Name

Select a Device (Terminal) record to view or manage its details.


Terminal Record Tabs

Each terminal record contains three tabbed sections:

  • Information
  • Login Sessions
  • Actions

All data in these tabs is directly related to the selected terminal (device).


Information Tab

Terminal Information

Add or edit the following fields:

  • Device Name
  • Assigned To (dropdown)
  • Phone Extension
  • Active (Y | N)

Device Tech Specs

These fields are automatically populated by the system.

  • Device ID
  • IP Address
  • NIC Address
  • Platform
  • App Architecture
  • App Language
  • App Version

Scale Data

Configure scale integration:

  • Select Scale (dropdown)
  • Serial Number
  • Baud Rate
  • Data Bits
  • Parity
  • Port
  • Settings
  • Stop Bits

Printer Data

  • Label Printer Name
  • Report Printer Name

POS Data

Used when the terminal functions as a Point of Sale (POS) device:

  • POS Enabled (checkbox)
  • Register Number (dropdown)
  • Terminal Merchant (dropdown)
  • Card Terminal (dropdown)
  • Connected (dropdown)
  • Device Type
  • Environment

Register Type

Select one register type:

  • Credit Card Only Register does not include a cash drawer. Cash payment options are hidden.

  • Full-Featured All payment methods are accepted at the register.

  • View Only Register is limited to viewing transactions and register history. No transactions can be started or completed.


Login Sessions Tab

The Login Sessions tab displays historical login activity for the selected terminal.

Available Data

  • Account Name
  • Login Date
  • Login Time

Filters

  • Date Range dropdown (defaults to Last 30 Days)
  • Search box for Account Name or partial name

Press Enter / Return to display search results.


Actions Tab

Change Logs

Click Change Logs to open the Record Modification Log, which displays:

  • Timestamp
  • Account
  • Modified Field
  • Set Value From
  • Set Value To

Click the X in the upper-left corner to close the log window.
