Adding Recurrent Tasks?
How to create, assign, and manage recurrent tasks in SiKore Facility Setup
Overview
Recurrent Tasks is an area within SiKore Facility Setup used to assign staff members recurring or one-time operational tasks. These tasks help streamline facility operations, improve accountability, and support compliance requirements in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Examples include:
- Changing air conditioner filters
- Cleanroom sanitization
- Prescription clarification tasks
Tasks can be assigned by priority, schedule, individual staff member, or supervisor.
Accessing Recurrent Tasks
- Click the FileMaker Pro icon on your computer.
- In the next window, click the K or System icon.
- Enter your Username and Password, then click Sign in.
- The SiKore system window opens showing My Modules on the right.
- Below all modules, click Facility Set Up (admin access only).
- In the User Access window, use the blue sidebar on the left.
- Select Recurrent Tasks (located below Documents).
Creating a New Recurrent Task
- In the Tasks window, click + New (blue button).
- The Add Task window opens.
Task Details
Enter the following information:

To Be Performed By (dropdown list)

Priority (select one or more checkboxes):
- High
- Medium
- Low
- Ultra High
-
Name
-
Purpose
-
Schedule Type:
- One Time
- Recurring
-
Date (use the calendar icon)
Configuring a Recurring Schedule
When Recurring is selected as the Schedule Type:

A Schedule section appears.

Click Edit Schedule.

In the Schedule window, enter:
- Start Date (calendar icon)
- Frequency (dropdown list)
- Every # of Days
- Repeat: specific number of times or Unlimited
- Due at Time (optional; leave blank for midnight)

Click Save to exit the Schedule window.
Assigning Participants
Assigned To
- Click Edit under Assigned to.
- The Select Staff window opens.
- Use the Select Profile dropdown to filter staff by Pharmacy Profile.
- Use the search box to further narrow results.
- Click the > arrow next to staff members to move them to Staff Selected.
- Click Close when finished.
Supervised By
- Click Edit under Supervised by.
- Follow the same process as Assigned To.
- Select one or more supervisors.
- Click Close when finished.
Creating a Task Checklist

Under Check List Items, click into the Enter Item field.

Type the checklist task.

Assign the item to either:
- A Staff Member, or
- A Supervisor

Click Save after changes are made.
Managing Tasks
Searching Tasks
- In the Tasks window, search by Task Name using the search bar below the task list.
- Press Enter / Return to view results.
Deleting Tasks
- Click the Trash icon to the right of a task to permanently delete it.
Task Tabs and Features
Information
- Edit task details by clicking Edit.
- Click Save after all changes.
Notes

Click + Note to add communication notes.

In the New Communication window:
- Select Type
- Enter Note
- Add a supporting document or image (drag and drop)
- Select Document Type if applicable

Click Save.
Participants
- Displays all Assigned Staff and Supervisors for the task.
Check List
- Search by Check List Name using the search bar in the upper right.
- Press Enter / Return to display results.
Completion Logs
- Displays completion timestamps and assigned staff.
- Search by Check List or Staff Name using the search bar.
Documents

Click + New to add a document.

In the Add Document window:
- Drag and drop the document or image
- Select the document type if applicable
- Enter a Document / Photo Description

Click Save.
Actions Menu
New Task

Opens the Add Task window.

Configure:
- To Be Performed By
- Priority
- Name
- Purpose
- Schedule Type
- Date
- Assigned To
- Supervised By
- Check List Items
- Execution details

Click Save.
Change Logs
- Opens the Record Modification Log.
- Displays a list of changes made to Recurrent Task records.
- Click the X in the upper left corner to close the window.
