Navigating Through Transfer Pharmacies?

This guide explains how to navigate through the Transfer Pharmacies module in SiCompounding, including viewing, editing, and managing pharmacy profiles, prescriptions, pharmacists, documents, and actions.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open SiCompounding
- Click the FileMaker Pro icon to open FileMaker.
- From the left menu bar, click SiCompounding.
- Click Pharmacy from the middle icons to open the Dashboard.
- From the blue sidebar menu, click Institutions.
2. Access Transfer Pharmacies
- Click the Transfer Pharmacies button at the top of the Institutions window.
- The Transfer Pharmacies window opens, showing a list of all transfer pharmacies your institution is associated with.
- Use the Search Bar to find a specific institution by name.
- Click on the desired Transfer Pharmacy to display its details on the right side of the screen.
3. Profile
- Displays Name, Contact Information, and Communication Notes.
- Click Edit from the top menu to update the Profile.
- The Pharmacy Information form opens—make changes and click Save.
- Click + Note to add a communication note.
- Select Type: Email, Note, Phone Call, or SMS.
- Enter the Note text and optionally add a Supporting Document or Image.
- Click Save.
4. Prescriptions
- Contains Rx Number, Drug Ordered, Patient Name, Date Issued, Last Filled, and Status.
- Use the Search Bar to find a specific prescription by Date, Number, or Patient Name.
- Click the prescription to view its details in the Prescription Module.
- Click < Go Back to return to the Transfer Pharmacies window.
5. Pharmacists
- Displays Pharmacist Name, Position, Phone, and Email.
- Search for a specific pharmacist by Name or Email.
- Click + Pharmacist to add a new pharmacist:
- Enter Prefix, Suffix, First Name, MI, Last Name
- Set Status: Active | Inactive
- Enter Phone, Ext, Fax, Email, Position, License Number
- Portal Access: On | Off
- Invitation Sent: Date, Sent To, Sent On
- Click Save after entering all data.
- Under Actions, click the gear icon → Edit to make changes and save.
6. Documents
- Displays Filename, Created By, Date, Time, and Description.
- Click + Document to add a new document:
- Drag and drop the file, select Document Type, and enter a Description.
- Click Save.
- Use the Search Bar to find documents by filename.
- Under Actions at the end of each row:
- Document: Preview the document
- Delete: Opens confirmation dialog (“Use DELETE to confirm deletion. Otherwise, CANCEL”).
7. Actions
Four main options are available in the Actions menu:
- + New Pharmacy: Creates a new Transfer Pharmacy
- Toggle Status: Set the record as Inactive (confirmation required)
- Access Logs: View Timestamp, Account, and IP Address; click X to close
- Change Logs: View Timestamp, Account, Modified Field, Set Value From/To; click X to close
